The Tour includes Filming Sites as well as the actual Harling Family House and the Beauty Shop House that inspired the Setting for the Play and Movie. Cost is $20 per person. 6:00 PM – Red Carpet Premiere of Steel Magnolias at Parkway Cinema where the movie originally premiered in 1989.

9:00 AM-4:00 PM – The Association for the Preservation of Historic Natchitoches presents a special tour of homes and sites used in the filming of the movie Steel Magnolias. Special events will be held at selected locations along the tour, as well as a speaker series and exhibit at the Lemee House entitled “Behind the Scenes of Steel Magnolias.” Tickets will be available soon.
